In 1988, her concert at Rio de Janeiro's Maracanã Stadium drew 180,000 fans, earning her the Guinness World Record for the highest attendance at a ticketed concert by a female artist. ART & PHOTOGRAPHY | LICENSING & IP MANAGEMENT

When BMG acquired Tina Turner's music rights portfolio in 2021, no one had consolidated her photographic history into a single, cleared, searchable archive. A licensing request for Rolling Stone's tribute coverage exposed the scale of the gap. 1966 Americas built a comprehensive photography archive spanning Tina's six-decade career — identifying more than 20 photographers, mapping a timeline of her defining career moments, and establishing a centralized digital asset system for BMG, Warner Music, and other stakeholders to draw on for reissues, campaigns, and legacy projects.
